Roller Ball Ideas

For my game, I was thinking of basing the levels off of elements, and have you travel through worlds based off each of these elements. So maybe the first level is like a grass field or something. Maybe with a few happy trees and bushes and flowers and things.

Maybe the second level will be either a mountain level or maybe a fiery volcano or something.

A good third level will maybe be a seaside, or watery level.

Brain Hunt! 2DRPG Final Part 3!

Goliath doesn't move much, but his minions do. Similar to Magmagoo, the minions will swarm you. Thankfully, there is more room to maneuver this time. However, one must be careful not to get swarmed...

…like this.

A final key is dropped upon Goliath's defeat. There is a single door up ahead that leads to the outside world. Jeff takes the key to the door and...

Congratulations! You win and your village is fed for years to come! But who knows how long that will last...

Brain Hunt! 2DRPG Final Part 2

After acquiring the yellow key from Rotbrain, the desert can be visited, and the pooping cat can most likely be bought. The desert is a harsh landscape filled with mini Rotbrains, and the quiet Sandmen, who awake when hit with any weapon. They are ruled by the Sand King, who guards the Green Key. Defeat him and the Woods to the south can be accessed.
The dusky desert is full of dead trees and deader brains.
Sand King fights among his sleeping men- be careful not to wake his minions or they'll start attacking as well.
By receiving the green key, the maze like Wicked Woods can be explored. The dark area is ruled by Batula, the Lord of Bats, who is completely batty himself. Batula spits out small bats upon being hit which will also hurt the player. Defeating Batula will give the player the red key.
Batula is crazed and spits out mini bats when he is hit. One must be careful not to get overwhelmed.

While Sand King is fairly simple, Batula raises the difficulty bar a fair amount.

Hell Mountain is the next area, but there is no pathway leading to it- it'll take some searching but Hell Mountain can be found North of the Town. Hell Mountain is fiery and filled with small enemies called Hotspots and Soldiers- they, along with the dragon centipede Magmagoo, guard a path beyond the mountain.

The red key and entrance to Hell Mountain
Hotspots and the Pooping Cat
Soldiers guarding Magmagoo.
Magmagoo cannot move, but his minions can- he may be an easy target, but his monsters will try to stop you from attacking him.

But after defeating Magmagoo, there is a mysterious black key dropped. Where does this lead to? The answer lies beyond the mountain. Using the Black Key, you may go to the Dark World. There, Goliath waits. He is a creature of greed and gluttony, feasting on brains of the outside while starving your people. Defeating him is not easy, but if you can do it, your village will be fed for years.

Brain Hunt! Final 2DRPG Part 1

My 2DRPG is Brain Hunt. This RPG is a fairly humorous adventure, with semiserious undertones. It features a reverse zombie apocalypse. Rather than you surviving attacks from zombies, the zombies are attempting to avoid starving to death. Therefore, you take on the role of Jeff, a zombie warrior who searches for brains to save the Town of Monsters from dying out.
Jeff and his wife.

NPC who tells the location of the keys.

Starvation is a problem.

NPC who explains that keys unlock more areas.

A ghost woman explaining where each key is used.

The asylum.
As you find out, there are troubles that are far worse than expected. Areas are sealed off to the outside, so the brain supply is running low. There is even an asylum for those who have gone crazy. Jeff must figure a way out, and by receiving cryptic clues from the townspeople, he can discover the way to victory. The first key, the purple key, is found within the body of Brain Boss.

Using your fish as a makeshift sword, you can defeat Brain Boss and take his purple key to unlock the path to the east- Monster Forest.

Don't forget to buy items! The watermelon cannon and the pooping cat are safer options than the fish.

Going east leads to Monster Forest, where a chest and yellow key is guarded by Rotbrain- a massive green brain who's fairly tough. Using your weapons, you can take the yellow key from him and acquire many brains from the Pumpkin Chest.
Rotbrain being hit with the watermelon cannon.
The Yellow Key.
There are guide characters to tell you about each boss, providing some backstory.
